CORElaborate is a website brought to you by Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD) and Ready Washington (ReadyWA).

ReadyWA and PSESD believe teacher leadership is essential for successful, large-scale systemic change in education. ReadyWA and PSESD also believe that the use of social media is an effective means of helping to sustain systemic change in instructional practice.

In 2014 and 2015 two cadres of Puget Sound Teacher Leaders blogged using the CORElaborate website, and hosted monthly twitcher chats, #WATeachLead and #TPEPchat. In winter of 2015 Ready Washington and PSESD received a two-year  grant from College Spark Washington to expand and replicate the success of Puget Sound Teacher Leaders across the state of Washington. Washington State Teacher Leaders (WTLs) will continue to blog and tweet about teaching and learning in support of and aligned to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and current Washington state teaching standards.

We invite you to follow us, Ready Washington and the Washington Teacher Leaders on Twitter, find us on Facebook and leave comments on the blog posts you find interesting here on our site.

Washington State Teacher Leaders are also hosting monthly Twitter chats using the #WATeachLead hashtag the second Sunday of every month at 7pm PST, and the #TPEPChat hashtag the fourth Sunday of every month at 7pm PST.
